Every major browser can block or delete cookies, and most now ship with a setting that rejects third-party cookies specifically. Turning that on will stop ad tracking across the web, including here. The trade-off: ads still appear, they just stop being matched to you. Clearing cookies in a browser that has already accepted them removes the ones already stored.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or hand over email we receive. Mail sent to us is used to answer the question it contains, and to fix errors on the site when the mail points one out.
The game this site covers is played by a lot of young people, so this matters here. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If a child has emailed us and a parent or guardian wants that message and address deleted, write to us and we will remove it.
As things stand, these pages link only to each other. There are no outbound links to third-party websites anywhere on this site.
That is a description of today, not a promise about forever. The rule that will apply if outbound links are added is the ordinary one: the moment you follow a link off this site, you are on someone else's site under someone else's policy, and what that site does with your information is not something we control or answer for.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes — a new category of data, a new kind of tracking — get called out explicitly rather than slipped in.
